Pronounced "zhee-klay" or "jhee-clay" giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method. It merges the use of professional grade large format printers with archival pigment inks, acid-free canvas. By using custom profiles, precise color corrections and expert scanning, pigment printing can render subtle gradation and many colors that would be out of range with other technologies.
This technology allows for an affordable print with all the "luster" of an original oil painting. A canvas giclee is hung in the same manner as original oil, with no matte or glass, as would be used with a paper print.
All canvas giclees are delivered unstretched.
